The way of the heart,
a deep rest winter retreat in Holland.
7-10 February, 2019
With the willingness to offer more continuity and depth, we invite you to join this retreat organized by the Open Dharma* team of Holland, and facilitated by Gemma Polo.
This retreat is an opportunity to become intimate with your own heart and the heart of life, through softness, deep rest, and genuine inquiry.
During the retreat, everyone will be encouraged and guided to find her or his own Way of the Heart, while combining lying down silent and guided meditations, healing sound and chanting, connected walks in nature; one-to-one meetings and inspiring talks by Gemma.
Apart from some sharing moments, the retreat will be held in joyful silence and in beautiful nature.
About the Facilitator:
Gemma Polo has been offering meditation retreats with Open Dharma* for the last fifteen years around the world.
Theologian, bee keeper, poet, mystic, and mother, Gemma lived in India for a decade and co-created “Dharmaloca”, an eco-retreat center in the sacred mountains of Montsant, Spain, where she also leads the “awakening with horses” project that she envisioned.
With a wealth of experience from different spiritual practices such as contemplation, Zen, devotion and a deep connection with nature, Gemma holds and guides each individual to find her or his own whispers of the heart.
*Open Dharma: is a non-profit organization registered in India, the U.S, and Spain. Open Dharma offers meditation retreats and teachings since 1999, to encourage people from diverse backgrounds to discover their calling and live an awakened life.
